Too tired to think of a title.
Just thought I should update. Although there's not much that has happened. School during the week, and then work on the weekend. I was able to leave work early today, 8:30 instead of 9. Pretty slow today. There's a whole in the wall of the lunchroom, beats me how it got there. That's about the only interesting thing that's happened to me this week. Well, except last Friday I hung out at my friend's new house. It's nice.

I'm sick. I can't stand it when I'm sick. W/ a sore throat and cough and everything. Even skipped Harvest this morning since I'm working this afternoon. Think I'm going to spend the day on pills though. Thank god for non-drowsy cold tablets. |

First off, even though I know this isn't on the right date, I'd like to take a moment to remember the victims of 9/11 as well as the recent Hurricane Katrina, particularly in new Orleans. If only the government was as quick to react to Hurricane Katrina as they were on 9/11.
I've just finished The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sedold, and I guess I'm in a pensive mood. It's an excellent book which I recommend as I enjoyed reading it, but its just a little depressing to think about. It's about a young girl who gets raped and murdered and then watches over her family and friends from heaven. Made me think of how much alive we are in everything we do, and how quickly it can all end and we'll never realize how much there is to miss. |

This shouldn't be what I'm thinking about b/c its not that important, but I'm like overjoyed that half the cast of Buffy is on TV this fall. I'm sure half the shows will fail, but still. Maybe I'm a little too obsessed, non? Let's see... Alyson Hannigan has that conedy, How I Met Your Mother while Nicholas Brendon is on that Kitchen Confidential, niether which seem to have gotten that great reviews. David Boreanaz is on Bones, which I really want to see since its based on the books of an real-life anthropologist, Kathy Riechs, which is based on her actual experiences, and I love the books. And then James Marsters is on Smallville, and Charisma Carpenter is in something as well. Yep, there's my list. Yep, Buffy is still my life. Lol. |

So I haven't written in here for a while. Been busy with other stuff. I just got back from Calgary, and was in Toronto earlier in the month. Haven't worked for awhile though. School starts this week though. Not looking forward to that. Don't have much to write actually. |

I finally saw Green Day's Wake Me Up When September Ends video, and I think it's really well done. It's actually my favorite song off their new album, so I think it's a great song, good lyrics, music, meaning etc. Then they managed to do a video that fit perfectly and made even more of a statement. There's my little rave. |

I miss puppet Angel.
Any-hoo, I'm kind of disappointed I'm not going to be able to meet up with my friends for the next few weeks. I'm working every day except one next week, and everyone's busy on that one day. Then I'm off to Toronto, so yea, no chance to see them. Hopefully afterwards.

I got back from work about an hour ago. It was really dead suprisingly, especially for a Saturday night.
It's fucking impossiable to find a pair of black Nike Airs in this city. This city being Winnipeg. I looked in almost 10 different stores, either shoe or sport stores, and the only store that had any only had size 10 and 6, neither being the right size for me. I finally gave up when I ran out of stores to check. Grr.
There's my little rant. A bit of reading, and then its off to bed for me I think. |

I'm so tired from work. I was working this whole weekend, including Friday and went to Havest this morning. On Saturday, I was supposed to work until 12-6, but then I agreed to work util 8:30. It was so busy, I felt like calling in sick the next day. Okay, I'm done my rant.
I've started the sixth Harry Potter book. Went out and bought it Saturday morning before work. I don't care if they're children's books, they're good. lol. I've promised myself I'll stay spoiler free until I finish it. Margaret tried to ruin it for me and I almost hung up on her to make her shut up.
Nothing much has happened, I'll post later. |
